BIOGRAPHY - NANCY DENZLER |

Nancy is a painter and sculptor currently living in Tucson, Arizona. She works in all media. Her work is in private and permanent collections including the Grand Canyon Art Museum, the Zion National Park Art Museum, and in North West Urgent Care Facility in Marana, Arizona. She is a signature member of the American Plains Artist and listed in Who’s Who in American Art. Her work is represented by the Max Gallery in Tucson, Arizona. Nancy was born in Newport, Arkansas. She earned a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo graduating Magna Cum Laude. At the university she taught foundations and figure drawing. Nancy exhibited at the “Arts for the Parks Top 100” in Jackson Hole in 2006, and she was included in the "Top 100" and "Mini 50" of Paint America from 2007 to 2010. Her work was in the “Grand! The Art and Wonder of America’s Magnificent Canyon Exhibition” show in 2007and is in the “Cowgirl Up” invitational art show in 2008 and 2009, at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum, Wickenburg, Arizona. Nancy was invited to participate in the Zion National Park event titled “In the Footsteps of Thomas Moran” in 2009 and 2010. Nancy also participated in the invitational “Modern Masters Exhibition” in the Kolb Studio on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, in September, 2009 and 2010. Nancy received a grant from the Creative Artist Public Services Program in New York. Over the last three decades Nancy participated in numerous exhibitions throughout the United States, including solo shows in Massachusetts, New York, and Arizona. |
